@Clunky is there a way into the camping area at the top of Schnebly without having to get ou t to 17. Then up to Exit 337 to the Airport?
Checked out the campsite with the family today. Looking good. There's one guy camping up here and said he was surprised to see anyone else here. He's been coming up for 15 years and nobody ever bothers him...until now...muwahhahahaha!
You have to go out to 17, however it looks like it might be possible to take 237 just south of Kachina Village to cut over to 89A just north of 535 (which leads to the campsite). I've never done it, but will try to test it out before the weekend of the run.
Even if that works, I'm sure it will be slower than just heading up to the airport exit, then heading south on 89A. It might be a more interesting and fun though.
There's a fire restriction going in place tomorrow effective until late August. Going to need some Propane Fire Rings.
Yes I will have the grill. If we want it I can bring the uber scottle as well. I think it will be time to make my beans that I made on the payette run again. So I will also have the dutch oven setup. What's the theme for pot luck? Will you still have the grill
