I've searched but can't find how to jumper the fuel pump with the vehicle not running. I want to pressurize the system to check for potential fuel leaks. Thanks!

I assume this is for the '96LX. This is from the '95 L/C repair manual:

Or you can do this:

So I take it I have to apply power to the fuel pump connector on top of the tank directly? There's no harness or connector in the engine bay?

below rear driver door is a connector to fuel pump.

I'm starting to wonder if I should just run it for 5-10 seconds and then check for any fuel leaks.

I've replaced the charcoal canister, but still get a fuel smell after i turn off the engine. New cap too. Last time I checked the operation of the canister system per TSM it operated correctly (pulling vacuum).

Alright I cheated and pressurized the fuel system by just starting it up on a cold start. Sure enough injector #5 is leaking.

Here's what the leaky fuel injector looks like. Oring looks good. Anyone seen an injector leak internally? It looks like this thing is toast. It was cleaner and balanced about 5-6 years ago. Should I replace it?
