s*** son, JRob don't practice......he can do a cut-turn without removing the Marlboro from his lips.

Yep. Should have known.

All JRob needs for a cut and turn is his bottle opener and a pocket knife...

What's your "All JRob needs..."?

What is this,...a comedy team?

Hey,..we had time, we got stuff done!!
It's easy tearing stuff apart!
Putting it together will take a little more time.

I see that when I left productivity went way up! Lol. Can't wait to help some more. Anyone wanting to learn a little something needs to get in on those 10 hour wrenching sessions going on over there!

If I didn't have so much going on right know I would be there in a heartbeat!
Looking good! That thing is going to be badazz

I was not talking to the two guys that have mastered the art of building Cruisers! We might need some help with the cut and turn tho.

Currently armed with the RuffStuff kit and a page full of notes from the anti-wrap bar 'great debate' thread...contributed to mostly by those who 'it thunders when they speak'.

JT are you using the same wiring harness and reworking it or....? when will yall be at the point of installing it? What kind of cage you going with?

The cowl harness is in poor shape, and the wiring under the hood is undecipherable to me...there are a lot of places where I can't match it up to the wiring diagrams in the FSM or Haynes manual. I bought a complete cowl harness from a guy here in Mud that came off his '77 (same year as mine). Once all the fires are put out on the chassis, the plan is to rip out the existing harness and go back in with the 'new to me' one - the goal being to get it to the point where you can troubleshoot...not to return it to factory condition.

I do not have a new 'rear' harness, and, after a couple of rounds of sandblasting, I'm sure there are some issues back there. That's going to take a little time, but I'm hopeful that those wires can be re-run or spliced without creating too big of a mess.

I've got a family cage from Metal Tech.

Please add your own personal flare to the MT cage so it won't look exactly like all the other 40s with MT cages..
Nothing at all against em, but i think most of the people i know with a 40 have a MT cage...

Just a suggestion
