I wasn't sure where to put this, but what's the hot ticket on jerry cans? I see the new ones have EPA compliant nozzles, which would seem to be a mistake (unless they're drastically different from the ones on regular gas cans), and used ones are a crapshoot, of course. I didn't see any replacement "water can" nozzles for jerry cans, but maybe i didn't look hard enough.

What has worked well for you?

I've been happy with rotopax ai13 replacement nozzles.

Luckily I live in a place without EPA compliant nozzles. Still, all my jerry cans are old enough to say Made In USSR on the side. New gasket for the cap and they work perfectly.

Scepter cans are dependable and you can get them anywhere plus they fit in all the commonly used jerry can holder hardware.

They sell spouts too.
You need to choose the correct one as they sell two sizes, for small mouth and large mouth cans.

I can't say it is a perfect seal, but I don't mind a few drops of gasoline.

Cheap Scepters and 5/8" Super Siphon.

Costco use to carry Cans for $20.

**I have the Heavy Duty Scepters too but the Cheapies have yet to Fail.

One Strap on a Hitch Hauler. Only thing is they can get Stolen, but I typically Empty them into tank after reaching Destination.

* I put them Next to my Truck one time and a Buddy drove over the Full Can with the GX and it didn't even Hurt them.

**Forgot to mention - do away with the Silly EPA Spout and Buy Original Scepter Yellow Fill Spouts and Gaskets on Ebay or Amazon.
Do not Buy the Knock-offs they Leak.
You can pour with Yellow Spout, but I prefer the Super Siphon.

I already have all the NATO Scepter cans that I can use, but this will help others.

My wife is the champion of finding exceptional values on FB marketplace for home appliances and etc.

I have those bookmarked. Amazon also has euro-spec cans from Wavian (same price as EPA), so if i go with new, that'll be the combination.
