Yes , I can't believe the homes are still standing and people live there.... most are artist.
Maybe worth a ride if someone is looking for a 55 and a 40, they have been sitting a while

Wow, looks like you are getting whole lot of attitude in that second photo!

Yeah, apparently he owns a vineyard/winery(Merkin Vineyards) there. : : : caduceus : : :

I think it would be cool to go to his wine tasting hours thing just for a chance to meet him.

That's his winery. I had dinner with him in Sonoma CA about 2 years ago. I'm in the wine industry and we have a mutual friend. He's making some seriously good wines. His Winery is Caduceus and Arizona Stronghold. Merkin is a CA winery that he made some stuff at that someone else owns.

Wine geek hijack over.

good luck

heh, merkin.

that 40 and 55 go up for sale every couple years. theres a few around the state like that.

i "tried" to look into these 2 rigs about 3 years back with little luck,,,,,,,,,,,,was not too interested, but they need a new home perhaps! I think my motor (340,000 miles) in my 78 FJ55 just bought the farm last weekend,so I it might be going up for sale this month for parts and the lot,,,,,,,,,,,,have had it for almost 16 years and it's been a great ride. I bought it out of Prescott and I'm up in Flagstaff,,,,,,,,,,,,anyone interested can contact me here on the forum:p

i plan to sell the complete truck if the motor is indeed finished,,,,,,,,,,might get a chance to look at it more this weekend, depending on weather mostly,,,,should be nice up here again starting saturday,,,,,,,,,i moght consider parting the 55 out but most likely i would be better off selling it off complete
