guys,

why not get the A/C drier and lines for a '93 and be done with it? The '93 has the drier directly in front of the main battery. Am I missing something here? Is this considered to be a JDM part vs run of the mill '93 oem part and therefore more expensive or something?

Do you know that the rest of the system is identical to the later models?

That will work? If that works then I may just order those.... I thought our only option was the kit mot was selling a while back, or getting creative yourself. The older condenser I got from Ray (Rayjon) had smaller fittings then the lines on my 96. Wonder if the fittings will be an issue?

CDan can tell you - I would make absolutely sure before shelling out the coin.

crap, it wont let you post a link....

Well, if you type in 1993 Land Cruiser and click on the air conditioner links, it puts up a diagram with what appear to be line made for routing a dryer in front of the battery.

Not sure if I can be of any assistance, but it pains me that I cannot come through for some of you guys!

I have been meaning to do this, but this thread kind broke my camel's back!
I just shot an e-mail to the shop that manufactures the relocator kit and see "IF" they would be willing to ship them across the pond. I know it's a long shot, but thought worth a try!

I'll let you know what I find out, but hopefully you guys will be able to find an easier, cheaper alternative!

Mot

Just heard back from the shop today and they're willing to ship overseas if you guys are interested, even for just one kit! Nice guys!

They told me that they would have to check the most recent Toyota prices on the parts and get back to me on the cost.

I will let you know when I hear back from them, but this makes me feel really good in thinking that I can at least in some capacities/parts help some folks out with some JDM parts as I truly enjoy lending you guys a hand.

Sincerely,

Mot

Mot, Thank you for the support. Let us know how much.

id definately be down for a kit to relocate. Mine looks like it sticks even further down with my Slee shortbus on now.

Thanks Mot!! I am also in for one. I have been wanting to move it up since i picked up the new bumper from Christo.

Does anyone know if a relocation kit will fit with the Sear Platinum batteries?

I'd be down too (for a not crazy spendy JDM kit)...got a small leak and will need to suck down-replace the drier before this summer anyway. Should we PM you Mot?

Subscribed.. also interested..

INterested....Keep us posted

I just peeked at my '97 with the Group 31 (giant platinum batt) and it looks like there is enough room.
