What's the plan? Do I remember Morris Mountain or Chocco being mentioned last month?

wishin' I could sport the borrowed 37s on beadlocks from Steve again, wow what a difference

We'll talk soon Ted. I'd like to get the rims swapped but maybe we can work a deal on the steel beadlocks with the MTR's if you're interested. I need to make a parts run to the Chocco area sometime in January anyway so this may work out for me. I'll be wheeling as often as possible til the free diesel runs out. My vote would be the weekend of the 21st; 2 weeks after The Cove ride and 2 weeks before the ACC Winter Ride at GMP.

we'll talk. If I'm not mistaken the stealies are 10" and I'd rather stay 8" but if the deal is right...

I think the club decided on Morris Mountain on the 21st so that may just work out. I believe Dennis will post details soon probably in another thread

unrelated--did you get the latest .gpx file i sent, google maps is pissing me off!

I think they are 10's but I'm trying to verify that with the previous owner now. I'd look at them when I get home but truck is poised just outside The Cove awaiting my arrival Friday. :)

I did get your latest email. Between that one and one of the others that actually worked, I could probably manage to get where I need to be if my GPS signal is good enough to keep me labeled.

Hopefully both rigs are still runnin good enough that I can make this ride. Haven't been to any of the trails/parks in that area and love ridin with the Ga crew!

Anybody thinking of coming up to GMP for the ACC ride 1st weekend of Feb?

I have a question: I'm delivering some wheels and tires to a guy in the area during this trip; anyone mind if he comes along to wheel? He's got a wrangler, I'm guessing built, and says he knows the place and the owner very well. Could be an asset to have along.

Also may be bringing a fellow Memphrican Yota guy as a passenger.

I thought someone would response by now. Bring him if it's ok with the BOD.:flipoff2:

Thanks ted. Yea bring him we will split into groups if we have too many trucks.

A few more things:

Ted: You can run the 37's again, just be sure to bring your 35's so I can take the 37's back with me this time.

Got another party interested in joining: Elbert from Alabama. Has a 60 on 33's, full protection, locked x2. Don't know which rigs are coming but if there's gonna be any wagons and not just us hardcore guys, he's a great guy with a capable rig.

Lastly: I may have a hookup on hotel accommodations right at the exit off 20 in Alabama. Would anyone be interested in coming down Friday night and staying there so as to get an earlier start at the park? More than likely that's where me and my guest will be Saturday morning.

Are we meeting some where to travel over or just meeting at the park? What time?

Yea, we were meeting at Galleria as usual but dont remember the time. I think last time you shot straight through Atl and we just met up with you.

Dennis--Just a reminder-- Ya gotta confirm the dates with Morris Mtn.as they don't open every weekend.

Thanks Steve-- Let' s talk wheels, now interested more in the 15-10 beadlocks you have than anything. Put me first on the list

Hmm, either I missed it or you added that in afterwards. In any case, we'll talk about the 'locks once I figure out which is going to work best for the SX's; I'm afraid it's going to be the steel's so the Champions may be the one's for sale. Not that I wouldn't do you right, but those can bring a pretty penny from what I've seen.

Noone responded to the second and third parts of my post though.
- Another guest wants to possibly join us
- Hotel accomodations for Friday if anyone is interested.

Edit - Ted, you and Andy may have to fight over the B/L's... I'd prefer auction style, but hand to hand combat may be more fun for everyone.

no hotel for me--sorry. concerning the guest i thought Josh kinds sorta addressed it earlier as being Ok

I'm sure you would like to see fleebay style but I'd like to see a honkin' good price too. :flipoff2:

The alums might be a little pricey for my budget but I guess it all depends on your asking price. I'm also working another angle but this is starting to merit a dedicated thread...

I thought I'd read that Morris is normally open only on the 2nd & 4th weekends. I saw where Ted posted we needed to contact them for verification. Pending that, like Sid asked, is there any ballpark time y'all could guess that you'll be getting to the park? Trying to decide when I'm hitting the road - night before or early Saturday. It's a 6 hour drive for me. :(
