With everything else you have have going on, why not rear disc too?

Your booster is fine. You master cylinder, on the other hand, prolly needs to be changed to one from a late 70's (US) type that had the disc/drum set up standard. Any parts store should be able to get you a rebuilt unit quickly and for not much $. Just remember to bench bleed it before installation.

On the other hand, you might be able to get away with just removing the residual valve thingy (highly technical term) from the front circuit like we have been doing for rear disc brake swaps for years. Might be worth a try???

Booster is fine. I would do the master like Darryl said. My 43 had the stock booster and 4 wheel discs and a late model master. Stopped great. Read drums work great. If you stay out of the mud, no reason to swap until they need to be replaced.

The two biggest reasons for chancing to the rear to a disc set-up would be to run in the mud a lot (like Nolen said) or because you just got sick and tired of adjusting them. It's not a big deal to adjust them and they do work great when adjusted properly. X2 on run 'em till they wear out and then reconsider if it's worth it to you to upgrade. Just my $.02

Plus, all the cool kids do it.

I did it to keep my axles in when I broke them (which I did a lot in the day)

That was the main reason I was thinking it would be a good idea, then I remembered he has a full floater.
