O ya, I sprayed the whole thing down with an oil base dressing (detail slime) I mean the whole thing but the glass. This soaks into the moss and soaks into the plastic and rubber. Hot bucket of water with way to much Dawn and started scrubbing from top to bottom. Pressure washed it off and then washed it. After it was dried I sprayed the whole thing with a water base dressing and will be letting it sit over night till about noon tomorrow. Then I will wash it with car wax wash and will post pics later.

Dent in the drivers door that is small but would need paint and well as one in the rear door. other than that its mint.

Inside it clean and I will just give it a vac and then put some miles on it in the afternoon.

Let us know how it goes. And post lots of pics.

Hey, uh could you test drive MY car next weekend? It could use a nice hot wax and perhaps you'd have time to clean and coat the leather for me? Heh. Good luck and have fun.

;) Don't you need new leather???? You are welcome any time and I stock all the detail goods.

So how this might work is my girl got rear ended in our Cadillac Eldorado last week and to my surprise they are going to total our car. The Altima grenaded on impact and Cads bumper and exhaust are wasted with no panel damage = $4,800 damage. So I have the option to buy it back for $290.00

This was my comuter car to work and she just happened to have it that day. So I needs a new ride.

So I needs a new ride.

Go for it! If you take it back all cleaned up then don't buy it, they will sell it for $10k and you will be kicking yourself.

I love the looks of those things and turn my head every time I see one on the road... which is not often because there were so few sold in the US.

Nice deal coming on the Cad. A guy here in my neighborhood has a Yellow one and I've secretly lusted after it. Trouble is it would not get me anything better than what I have. The 80 is better looking, goes better offroad, rides better onroad, carries more, and is built by Toyota. So, just a secret lust.

:grinpimp:

. It is a small, sporty 2-door crossover vehicle with aggressive external styling, including short overhangs, an aggressive forward stance, titanium "teeth" in the grille, a black hood-insert, and black plastic cladding the entire lower half of the vehicle. The US VehiCROSS came equipped with 16" polished wheels in 1999 and 18" chrome wheels during the remainder of production. The Japanese version only ever having 16" alloys with chrome center caps.
The VehiCROSS is highly regarded for its cross-terrain performance. It combines a computer-controlled all-wheel-drive system for on-road driving and a locked-differential low gear four-wheel-drive system for off-road driving. Its computer controlled "Torque on Demand" system, with 12 independent sensors detecting wheel spin and redirecting power to the wheels with the most traction, gives the VehiCROSS a high level of traction on wet and icy roads. It also has a high level of performance for its height. While possessing on-road nimbleness, its body-on-frame truck construction, suspension and 4WD gearing make it very capable off-road.

Nice interior.

I know of a silver one that I think is cheap at $4,000 with 105k on the clock.

Anyone know any details on these?

Looks like the Isuzu/Holden/Vauxhall Frontera from 1990. The suspension worked well on the front lawn

that's similar to the Suzuki GV, but with more clearance and beef.

i would think the weight to power ratio is very good, probably quite peppy on the highway.

Take that thing over to the VehiCross forum, ask a bunch of questions on how to fix any issues, post a bunch of pictures, then flip it for a $6000 profit and buy yourself another 80 with the money you make.

Of course you'll be banned from the VehiCross forum and all your Isuzu karma will be in the toilet but you'll have a free 80 and that's not all bad.

:D

"The truck was intended to showcase Isuzu's off-road technology, and is one of the few vehicles to ship with monotube shocks with external heat-expansion chambers; a technology normally reserved for off-road motorcycle racing."

* Class Winner 1998 Paris-Dakar Rally
* Class Winner 1999 Australian Safari Rally

Not too shabby unless there were no other vehicles in that class.
