Ironman Foam Cell Pro lift kit installed - with pictures

I just had mine installed and got it back last night. 2" Ironman Foam Cell Pro with the "light duty" 13b springs. Only thing I am noticing, and didnt see at the installers shop when picking up due to darkness, is that the driver's side is nearly 3/4" lower than the passenger side, both front and back. Otherwise, I have a nice 1-1.25" rake back to front. Any thoughts on why the driver's side might be lower (measuring hub to fender)?

The ride is nice though. I am coming from a defective AHC system (rode like it had bricks in the suspension) in my '01 LX470, so my reference is skewed...but I like it.

Thanks.
How is that Ironman suspension feeling now on the road? I'm about to do an AHC delete on my LX470 and cant figure out best suspension for improved highway/city driving.

Sorry for the late replies, I somehow missed the email notifications for this thread even though I am subscribed.
  1. For the city driving I really like the Ironman suspension, the Performance variant, which is for additional loads of 0-400lbs it feels just fine. I have a good footing on the highway and don't see any sway even at 90mph.
  2. How do I measure rake? Sorry I am not familiar, I feel the front and back are almost level.
  3. Overall I am very happy with them, to be honest though I have only gone off-roading once since having these shocks installed (to Hollister SVRA). 99% of the driving is on the highway, commute to work, or grocery store. I really like the firmness the suspension provides especially in corners and at highway speeds.
Happy to answer other questions. Thanks!

Hey guys, just got the IMFC Stage 2 installed today!!

Foam Cell Pro 2" Suspension Kit Suited for Toyota 100 Series Land Cruiser/Lexus LX470 - Stage 2 - https://ironman4x4america.com/foam-cell-pro-2-suspension-kit-suited-for-toyota-100-series-land-cruiser-lexus-lx470-stage-2/

The overall driving impression is that:
  • Highway: Factory Most Comfort to Comfort Setting compared to stock
    • This is super smooth! Closer to the most comfortable setting on stock with nob turned all the way to the left
  • City Road: Factory Comfort to Sport (Not the Sportiest setting with nob turned all the way to the right) compared to stock
  • I have a 1" rake between the front and rear
  • ~2' lift all around
  • I ended up getting the differential drop kit
    • As you can see the Rack&Pinion is almost straight

UPDATE ON IMFC
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After driving around in LA here are some of the things I noticed with the IMFC:
  • Minimal body roll when turning
  • Minimal head dip when breaking; even with hard breaking
  • Sportier suspension feel at speed above 70mph; always felt the stock suspensions gets a little bouncy around 70mph
  • I would probably say overall the IMFC feels like "comfort to comfort -1" on the stock suspension

By the for the AHC delete portion:
  • Removed AHC relay in the engine bay
  • Removed the AHC 50 Amp in the engine bay
  • Did NOT remove passenger AHC fuses
  • As a precaution also removed the plug to the AHC setting module in the center panel (this is not necessary)

@ghong14

I just bought the same setup and wondering how is it off-road? And on washboards?

I've tried my best trying to keep my ahc but just ended throwing parts at it. I'm going to try to keep the ahc system so I can diagnose the electrical off vehicle another day but in the meantime I just felt that I wanted to enjoy the vehicle rather than constantly work on it.

Hmm, ok, so that could possible be the issue. Do you know how I could easily tell if they are incorrectly installed when they are on the truck? I suppose I could go out and look and see if there is an L and R on them. I also assume that L is driver side and R is passenger side?

Thanks.
I just installed my Ironman rear yesterday, I didnt see any markings but i did use the slightly taller spring on the driver side due to the fuel tank. Only because in videos thats what they were doing, not much instruction in the box.

What spring load you got. Medium or heavy ?

Any of you guys with this lift also doing the pan hard drop bracket to get the bar leveled? Or is that not necessary with a 2 inch lift?
