Just got off the phone with Metal Tech and these are completely sold out but they're expecting a shipment in late January.

If you're a vendor and have them in stock, let me know :)

@wngrog I'm ordering mine on Monday. @wct49 has one last set with my name on them. My rear passenger blew out. Kinda now or never

Just returned from a 750+ mile round trip to Chimney Rock. Lots of mtn switchbacks along the way and the FCPs performed flawlessly. Very impressed with the lack of body roll. Highway speed handling has been greatly improved as well. No trail time on this trip...:meh:

Aw yeah guys!

Well over the weekend my BIL helped me install a complete Ironman lift with the foam cell pros. The ride is great and I'm glad I'm not running on the failed AHC anymore. The install was a bit of a nightmare starting out both rear tires had 2 lugs that were seized so I had to run over to discount tire and have them look at it. Thankfully they covered getting them all fixed. Back to the install, each shock had to be cut out as the top nut was seized as well. All I can say is the lift totally changed the look of my LX as well as the ride. Yea no more cruising in slammed mode any more!

No more creaky squeaky ticking noise. Oh and it doesn't ride like a low rider in the back anymore.

Anyone know if ironman makes a pro foam cell that could replace a bilstein 5100, and 5125?

I think the "kit" 100 series rear springs are way too tall.

I use Slee Heavy.

I agree with this. I'm looking to bring my rear down 1" or so. This is with a Slee bumper/spare, etc.

Just spoke with Metal Tech...as many have said, the Iron Man Foam Pro(black shock) is out of stock. Ironman produces three shocks...Gas, Foam Elite and the Pro Foam. I was told the Elite is being discontinued and the Foam Pro is back ordered. Apparently chatter online about displeasure with OME has caused an unplanned spike in purchase of the Pro Foam. Orders expected in Oregon have either been delayed or canceled until they can catch up. They are expected by the end of the month(January). I was hoping for a delayed Cyber Monday sale....no luck.
The video comparison I have watched online(produced by Ironman) made the Pro Foam look substantially heavier and more capable than the OME. I am not an expert.

As I said before. I'm not sure on foam versus gas as an engineer but what I can tell you this. Look at my first posts.

These shocks weigh 2x more than OME gas shocks.

I think they are well valved and all but the sheer size of the shock makes a huge difference handling these ginormous trucks.

Wait for them.

Nice to see reviews of trips in 110+°F heat with no issues... My question is: anyone here running these in a climate where they're exposed to those types of temps full-time for months (i.e. southern Arizona)? Curious how these hold up in long-term heat exposure.

we'll find out in a couple of months!

Yeah I can only give you Tennessee climate lol. They have been absolutely amazing for me so far. On no lift and stock michelins

Lol great  not exactly the answer I was looking for. well, maybe they'll be in stock again by then anyway.....

^ purely subjective reply to your question- but really depends on your intended use.

IM is a well known Australian based company, making products to meet the demands of harsh Aussie environment like the Simpson dessert- which is hotter than havasu in the summer- I have no doubt that these will manage the heat and punishment that anything that AZ-NV-UT-SoCal could present to a loaded expo rig making its way through the back country with out fade or loss of performance on a 80,100 or 200 series cruiser.

Now if you are expecting trophy truck suspension performance as your base line comparison this is the wrong shock. If you expect to drive fast in rough terrain, better get King reservoirs and be prepared to spend thousands more.
