Once again, I don’t understand.

Why would the shock body not spin on the shaft?

I’d rather remove the sway bar than the upper shock bolt. All day.

It spins, but it’s near impossible to attach the lower eyelette mount on the stud on the axle because it sits at an angle, if the top of the shock is connected.

I’ve done it because I changed my rear springs multiple times since installing my Iron Man Pros. No way I’d subject myself to the beat down of that top bolt.

Just jack the axle up and down until you get the pin where it needs to be.

Also you can go flex your truck out and see if it’s hitting. If not leave it alone

Did you check which way yours is installed? I’m curious:)

If I ever have to remove my rear shocks on my wifes 100 ever again, Im drilling a hole through the floor boards and when im done, ill put rubber grommets in the holes and cover with carpet. NEVER AGAIN

+1, me too

Looks like mine have been backwards for all this time. No marks on the shocks from hitting the axle.

Stickers are forward

There's even a sticker on the shock giving this notice. I'm confident they are fitted correctly for my vehicle. Good discussion

Yeah absolutely! I'm glad you posted your pictures, so now everyone can know the correct way:)
Ironman AUS also wrote back early in the morning, and they've told me that your way is the correct way!

Okay, I've turned them around.. As expected it was a lot of fun to do:D (not that bad really, but the top mount did have to come off)

@CMiller , why did Ironman stop selling the FEC (Comfort) for the 100 series?

Also, is Ironman USA importing the Pro for the 60 series yet?
Hi Nolan, Great question. I just checked our most current product list and there is for sure no comfort valving listed for the 100 series shocks. I do know that the valving on all of our Foam Cell Pro shocks has been updated recently. We have made some nice refinements to balance the way our shocks work as a full system.

60 Series Front Foam Cell Pro shocks and Rear Foam Cell Pro shocks are in stock. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks!

Hows is the small bump absorption on these at low speeds (high shaft speed on the shock)?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like high speed compression is still quite soft, while low speed compression is firmer?

They are consistent for me at all stages. I am a very heavy rig but they are the best shock I have ever dealt with on 100 series.

I have ran Slee Heavy springs (great great setup) and now I run OEM 868 since I got a trailer. Both ride great

Mines are consistently bad. Both low and high speed compression feels like the suspension is welded together & can feel every little crack in my back. It would be great for a racetrack cruiser though

I saw your other thread on this, I think you have too stiff of coils or something, you are the only one reporting this.
