Going up to a 37-39" tire, can't decide between IROKs or TSLs for the wheeling I'd see around here. 4x4groupbuy has the 37x14.00 IROKs for $206 a pop, cheapest I have found on the 38" TSL is $220... Price isn't everything, but if the IROKs will do as well as the TSLs then I'd snag them.

bias ply or radials?

Iroks are super tires, I think better than TSLs, but opinions always vary :)

I know RK from the NC board runs iroks. I think he likes them pretty well. shoot him a PM and get his opinion. I know he has run both at some point.

i've got 36" bias iroks but they havent seen the trail yet.
but i can say, if it matters, that i ran them on the hwy without balancing them and they ran pretty well.up till about 55-60 mph ;)

I like TSL's for the mud we run into aroundhere, with that said I have no experience with the Iroks

......... didn't you just buy some 35's from dan???

I think JP is right on. I would imagine that the TSL's would be better suited for mud and such, but I think the IROK's might hold up better on the rocks. But then again I could be retarded too. who knows. :D

Go with the Iroks. I have run TSLs, Boggers, SXs, and Iroks in the past. The Iroks are what I have now and are the best tire I've run, hands down.

If you are set on running 38s, get SXs instead of TSLs. The SXs are great tires too, just not as good as the Iroks in my opinion.
