Intermittent issue after starting.

I have this strange intermittent problem. Only has happened twice in the last month. On a cold start. The engine fires up, runs rough, all warning lights are on. I turn key off. Start again and runs normal ?.. I suspect maybe the ignition switch. I recently replaced the battery. Never happened with the old battery, Coincidence? Any ideas.

Sounds like the symptoms of a failing alternator. You can find similar threads by searching "Christmas tree lights".

Also, check battery connections, fusible links, alternator connector (loose?), ---

I recently replaced the battery.

Loose battery connections/possibly loose fusible links.
Fusible links should be replaced with each battery change IMO. Keep the old ones for a spare.

Never thought alternator, will look up Xmas tree lights

Have checked connections. Problem did not occur until I changed the battery . Will check links.
