Interesting Timing

Okay, hear me out on this one...

Two incredible eras in our lifetimes have a surprising correspondence:

FJ-55 Land Cruiser (Pig): Produced from 1968 to July of 1980

Led Zeppelin (English rock band) members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jones first play together in August of 1968. On 25 September, 1980, John Henry Bonham was found dead. On 4 December, 1980, Led Zeppelin announced that they could not go on without their friend and were breaking up.

1980 - the end of these eras of awesomeness.

Coincidence? I think not!

Pink Floyd had a similar run as well, from 1967 to their final album in 1983, but in reality they were done by 1980 with the end of The Wall tour.
