Injection Nozzle Pressure 1HD-FT

Hello,

I've searched and searched without any luck.

Long story short, I'm wrapping up my 1HD-FT engine refresh. Need the specs for the correct amount of pressure the fuel nozzles should have. The FSM does not show what pressure it should be. It mentions a start to spray pressure of 2000+ PSI. Yes that's two thousand PSI!!

Would really appreciate the input gents.

From 1hd-t FSM engine manual

injection cracking pressure
No 1 2,560-2,700psi
No 2 1,877-1,963psi

Don't have 1hd-ft figures, but they are considerably higher (500psi higher from memory, but don't quote me)

I found the same method of numbers in the manual. Not sure the shops can give an initial PSI and continuous. I was under the impression that one solid number should be good for either a spring replacement or not.

I believe those are the two stages of injection on a single injector.

Dual stage injectors. From what I understand it just makes injection quieter.
Your stock injectors can be converted to single stage and the truck will sound more diesel like
