Well. Soon you will get collection letter. People get over 200% tariffs when ordering from Partsouq, supposedly for parts made out of russian aluminum.
So.. No more overseas orders for me. I guess those 25% off at dealers will end soon as well. Enjoy while you can.

I bought a starter relay on ebay for the hilux from Japan and the part is $115 with taxes in TX ($ 222 in the USA). On top of $115, I paid $60 as import taxes. Spoke to DHL about this nearly 52% tax and he informed me there is $17 import tax and $42 import duty and $1 for something else! Best to source from the country. Unfortunately, I cannot get Hilux parts here!

Is there a special way of searching for the globes on the impex site? I plug in the part number in the search bar and always get a no parts found. I have to be doing something wrong.

Also, regarding tariffs. A redditor and I'm sure he's on here as well ordered globes recently and did his own declared value of $25 for these and ended up paying a small amount $21.94 in tariffs. not sure if this will work 100% of the time but something to keep in mind.

It popped right up for me… but I am signed in to Impex.

In the past, I have found that if I search on the Impex site without being signed in, no item is found.

Make sure you’re signed in and then give it a try.

The first four ended with material costs basically doubling across the board, permanently. The middle four was just simply evil insanity. Nothing is more important than ridding of the evil insanity of the liberal democraps. Yes I remember lumber prices going up back then but look at the S & P since 1/24...a rather ridiculous increase as the evil insanity decreases.

I also remember the anti-American, anti-small business world pre 2016 election. As a land broker, I knew there were investers with lots of cash they were not willing to invest and land business work was very slow for those years. The Monday after Trump was inaugurated I had a contract on 1800 acres. Times changed fast with turn of confidence in the American economy. With currency trading hands to prove it.

FYI, I just received my combined shipping/tariff costs. Total comes out to 51% of the parts.

I still got a deal. New hubs. bearings, oil seal, and dust seal for my wife's GX for $380.
