I got some tie rod ends, ball joints, rack bushings for this and my tundra, upper and lower radiator hose, a thermostat and thermostat gasket, Total from Impex was 262.32, DHL charged 137.00 for shipping and I got hit with a 57.00 tariff that DHL just sent me that had to be paid within 5 days or the shipment would be returned to sender. total was 456.32. It was still a solid deal compared to the discounted Toyota Dealer I use in San Diego as total would have been 615 bucks and I'd have to pick it up. Still worth it. I ordered 1/21 and received it on 2/11 if this helps anyone out there.

I placed my order on impex on the 2nd of feburary and just got the update that it is in stock. Has anyone had any good experience with using the cheaper shipping options such as fedex. I see dhl is the most expensive. Is there any consequences to declaring the value lower or should I just leave the value as what I paid for it.

Yep, in response to the post above yours, DHL was the only listed option for mine.
I set the value of the package for 13000 jpy and chose fedex priority will update this forum when I receive any updates of it.
I didn't get to choose my carrier, they chose it for me.
I didn’t try since the bs, prior you had options, DHL/Fedex/UPS
Given a choice, even if it costs more, I choose DHL over dreadEx. All day, everyday. DHL is so much easier to work with if things go tits up. Good luck making a claim against dreadEx. Of course, everyone's experience is different, but I would not bemoan not having it as an option.
Its too late now already chose fedex priority for the shipping option. I've actually never had a bad experience with fedex while shipping in north america so I thought it would be a decent option worldwide as well. I will update if any issues occur with the shipment and good to know for next time to choose dhl instead.
Yeah, just like franchises, it seems to be highly based on where you are. (I do realize these arent franchises, just things like "The UPS Store" is)
DHL was the worst of the bunch in Hawaii.
FedEx here in lower MI.
UPS is horrible at my friends in/around Vegas.
So, safe to say if I put $950.00 in my Impex Acct. via paypay that "should" be enough to cover 4 globes and a height sensor assembly to Maine?
For those of you who’ve added a small additional item to your globe order; can it be shipped in the same 45x38x21cm box? Wondering where we come up with the dimensions for the package? I need a rear suspension link weighing 0.293kg, I feel that If I enter the total weight as 11.5kg it should more then cover the additional piece of I can in fact include it in a box of those dimensions? Thanks.

I just over assumed for sizes and weight a bit and added some extra cash on top. I still have like $60 with Impex, sooner or later I’ll use them again. I need to start another rubber replacement order

Super happy with them and saved a load of money ordering from them. Luckily I declared the value at 13000jpy and no tarrifs in canada so worked out well for me. Fedex was also super quick on the delivery no issues there either. Appreciate all the help.

So, it was 15 days for processing before the 2nd email notifying you the parts were in stock? I placed my order on the 18. Hoping I didnt miss an email. My acct still looks like this on their site.
Yes most people said around 10 days and not to worry even if you miss an email it'll update on the impex page saying in stock then you just go to packages and pay for the shipping.
From there you just click where it says pay on the second image the orange icon above download excel file. It should estimate box size and ask you to pay the shipping. Then you declare the value and your done and just wait for it to ship.
Ok, I went ahead and payed before I saw your reply but the site didnt auto calculate the package size. I entered the value and weight but I dont see an estimated package size anywhere.
