Planning lighting tonight, looks like nine total 8' T8 fixtures on 4 switched banks at the ceiling level...should allow lighting specific areas easily, without breaking the bank. Just haven't found any LED's that are affordable...might do that for the "office" area tho.

Also planning locations for ceiling fans...likely two...even better, these come as a 2-pack

Why no separate electric service for the shop? You might want to check into it, I know that my service for the shop is at a lower rate than the house service.

You should have gotten an email warning, but they are commonly lost in the spam/junk folder...either running with the buy5/get6 or the subscription helps fix that

One pic is standing on the platform, facing SE....the other is facing NW...

Yes, there are plenty of windows...and the entire W wall (concrete) will get a 4' wide walkway for crate/parts storage.

Insulation will be handled later, still unsure on interior finish. Want to be SURE the wiring is set first, so likely a year away. No heat going in, AC will be a swamp cooler (if needed, another "down the road" item) I'd like to get a year in before I close it up.

I'm now toying with putting most of the lighting on the walls....16' ceilings make any bulb changes a hassle...

My T12HOs in my shop are over fifteen years old. LEDs would be even longer.
