BTW, that bellhousing was still available from Toyota a few years ago ... special order from Japan. Problem is, getting the correct tranny from a boneyard would be cheaper.

Im sure, do you remember what it cost from Toyota?

I can look it up when I get home. I seem to recall about $400. I think it took CDan about two weeks to get it, maybe three.

Lots of good stuff here guys thanks. I finally got things situated so that I could see if the bell housing would line up, sure enough.....it does not. I don't think I will be trying to find the bell housing needed to make this work. Anyone need an R150 tranny?

W56 (make sure its for a 4x4)
or
R151F w/bellhousing

W56 would be the cheapest, most readily available.
