If it fits and engages the pump, its prolly the same one. if it works?.....well my magic eight ball says, "Ask again later", so stay tuned.

If it came with and it fits, go for it. Unless you want to go with some low stall converter for wheeling. Make sure it engages all three steps. The input shaft, the stator shaft and the pump should all engage as you push in and turn.

im not really selling it,
ive just been thinking about selling it.
But basically I prolly wouldnt charge more than $2000 for it.
But i would like to sell it.

All from one post........you forgot to take your meds didn't you?

^^^^MMMMMMMMMMMMM^^^^^^

That reminds me.....its captain time! Nothing like drinking alone.

What do you want to know about Z cars John? I have owned/sold almost 30 of them over the years. I still have a ton of parts for the original body style and Jimmy has a ton for the 280ZX's.

I hadn't driven my last 240Z in years before I sold it, and when I got it ready to sell and was finalizing the finishing touches for the new owner I had SERIOUS seller's regrets. Driving a basic sports car after so many years of driving a truck was a blast and brought back many memories. When my wife is out of town and I get to drive her Benz for a couple of weeks I get the itch all over again. Now you got me thinking again...BASTARD!

:grinpimp:

I know nothing. except they look like fun. Why would I want a z over a supra?

Supra's are nice but were way more expensive to build due to lesser numbers. i always felt that Z cars had more classic appeal, but it depends on the years. Jimmy was always into the 280ZX's, but I was into the earlier years. My three big builds, street drag racing w/~ 400 hp NA, were all early 240Z's. We both had early 90's twin turbos, and those are in a whole different league. Crazy fast in stock form and relatively easy to get another 100+ hp cheaply.

As a former Supra owner, does my vote count? :)

I had an RX-7. Pistons are for pussies.

I got pulled over doing 125mph (drunk, 3 am) in a RX7 by a state boy on 465........got off with a warning cuz the guy i was racing in a Supra was drunker than me:D:D:D:D
Oh, the good ole dayzzzz.

I had a single turbo, Triumph GT6 back in the late 80s (a spitfire with a hard top & hatch back)

That was a bad azz car......very fast. Veery Hot inside in the summer time.

But I must agree with The Commander. When I had the Prelude for a while, driving it brought back the memories & good time feelings of rippin around in a fast car that handles like it's on rails. Made me wanna embrace my inner "tuner car guy" that I wasn't sure still lurked inside.

Oh, & by the way thanks for the torque converter input, Gumby.

John, lemme know if the Magic 8 Ball every gives up an answer.

Next question....What is the trick to the Anti-wrap bar?
I know not to make it out of T.V. tray legs, or copper tube...but is there a formula for building & mounting one? or do I just need to attach to the diff & to the frame at random? Help a Brutha out here.
