Is that the silverish one that you don't wheel that I think I saw once at last yrs Hoedown?
I didn't get a real good look but i thought that looked way sweet, Don't sell!! What gives? Whats the plan?

Thats way too nice for my DD taste!! I don't deserve that. I would feel guilty driving something like that in the salt.
I would need some MPG's with a stick, 4 doors, blah, blah boring, boring.

that was it, its black though. a stick, and gets 19 city, 22 hwy.

Im glad you think it is pretty.

why u selling it?
miles?
$$$?

im not really selling it, ive just been thinking about selling it. It needs some work, which doesnt really matter cause id have to fix the things before I would sell it anyway. But basically I prolly wouldnt charge more than $2000 for it. And that doesnt get me my 3rd gen 5spd 4runner, it just gets me a beater, and why trade a beater I know for one I dont.

it has about 220,000miles, ive put 70k on it in about 4-5 years, and havent had to do s*** to it, so atleast its a beater I can trust everyday to battle the toll roads.

But i would like to sell it.

And the potential 3rd gen would be the new DD? Or are you gonna wheel the 3rd gen & DD the Red runner?

I can do one of two things in my current situation. Keep the 61 (i would love to keep it). And delay finishing the 60 as funds permit.
Or sell the 61, use some cash for my bills & work on the 60 some more.
I am leaning towards keeping both. Like Clint said I change vehicles way too often.
I just need to practice restraint & patience & work on the 60 as funds permit.
I just get all fired up about something & don't have the patience to wait for things to happen.

s*** the way things seem to happen, I could be good to go financially again in another month or so.
That's it Ive made up my mind, I will keep the 61 & work on the 60 as I can.....That was easy
Or maybe....??? No , no, I already made the call & put it in print...

On the 60s progress though. Making the centered rear diff has been fun & interesting so far. Going back next weekend to work on it some more.

Started a rear bumper for it last week not quite sure what its gonna look like yet, but at least I started on it.

Have started to start on the body work & do some other little things inside to get it cleaned up & put back together.

Gonna pull the tranny & get it all working again properly..
If I'm not sure about the torque converter, as in I have the tranny & a torque converter that was out of the truck when I got it, is it safe to just put it in, not knowing if it is the one that was with the tranny originally? Or will it hurt something? If I'm not sure about the converter, should I just get a new one? Or are they all interchangeable?

Serious?

no it would be a DD. Maybe ill get a 3rd gen supra instead, they are cheaper and easier to get in a stick....:hhmm:

See im just in think mode, it gets ugly.

No, not serious.
Seriously, did you think I was serious?

Is it because I have brain damage? That you feel you have to ask these kind of questions?

I initially thought it was a joke, but I thought.....this is the guy who does build a good wheeler, then buys a project and turns the wheeler to a DD....so I had to ask.

now im looking at ol' datsuns and nissans (im sure clint will perk up now(and jimmy IIRC)).

that chopped up one for 10k? no thanks. I was looking at the z cars.

Gonna embrace your poofter side?

Hey now...just seeing if there is anything about a z that I may want over a supra.

A guido drives an Irok Camaro, wears zoomba pants, white rebok pumps, a golds gym sweatshirt cut into a v-neck, with no sleeves, had those old school oil finish, baseball oakleys, and a mullet.

I dont have a mullet.

BTW Jersey shore rocks!

I can see it already........John's inner guido.....
