Great.. wondering how I wound up with it.. since I have an Fj40.. duh.. thanks for postingJack holder for FJ45 and FJ55.

Jack holder for FJ45 and FJ55.
Interesting. I don't see that style for an FJ55 in any of the part's diagrams. So what year(s)? Everything I have looked at from 69 to 80 looks more or less my '77; which doesn't look like that. Of course what is depicted in a parts diagram isn't necessarily reality.Somebody lost a bet!
At the Rising Sun Rally in 2005, I saw one on a table at a seller’s booth. I asked him how much? He said $5…IF I could tell him what it came out of. I told him that it came out of an FJ55. He was genuinely surprised, and handed it to me. Then I told him who I was!![]()

Cool. Parts diagram from what? 45 or 55 or both? Again, just curious. Thanks.Ahhh “you cheated … you used your brain”

Greg, much of my ‘database’ is inferential, being as I have accumulated parts from over a thousand rigs, and probably worked on that many more for customers. My first pig was a ‘73 with a crushed roof, and it had one. So that’s where my dataset started.Interesting. I don't see that style for an FJ55 in any of the part's diagrams. So what year(s)? Both FJ55 (03/69 to 09/73) and FJ45 (06/76 to 01/79)Cool. Parts diagram from what? 45 or 55 or both? Again, just curious. Thanks.
Both FJ55 (03/69 to 09/73) and FJ45 (06/76 to 01/79)
The pics were taken from my Toyota microfiche set dated Jan '81 for the FJ40 series, BJ40, and FJ55 for the period from 03/69 to 07/80 in the US and Canadian markets

I had no question they came with one if you said they did Mark! I just couldn't find it. @timmyisinthewell thanks. I see it clearly now that I know which diagram to look at.Greg, much of my ‘database’ is inferential, being as I have accumulated parts from over a thousand rigs, and probably worked on that many more for customers. Was that Jeff Zepp? I think I actually heard that story.Somebody lost a bet!

No. I actually stayed at Jeff’s house on that trip. The guy with the jack holder was named Terry. I think he was making Tshirts for the club at the time. Was that Jeff Zepp? I think I actually heard that story.
So he told you about the FJ40 bezel on the UHaul truck?@65swb45 I think it was Jeff who told me that story, so that makes sense.![]()
In 05 I drove a U Haul from Madison Wisconsin across country, buying Landcruiser parts. By the time I got to Jeff’s house with the U-Haul I had among other things 22 front axles and half a dozen transmission/tfr combos.I don't recall that. But another guy and I at Rising Sun were talking about something: I can't recall what. Jeff said be careful what you put out there because someone could always know what some random thing is. I remember thinking it was hilarious.
