wongtsenhin (how did you come up with that name?)
after bouncing back and forth on this i have decided to go with the large front diff. parts are easier to find. the center unit is much stronger. cheaper in the long run.

cheers

Wong Tsen Hin is my real name, not making out of something!:D This is a direct translation of my Chinese character.
Wong = Is the surname of our family
Tsen Hin = name of me

This is a good choice, cheaper route, easier source of part for swapping it to a 3.7 ratio. Well, I like to stick to high pinion as I have e/locker on the front diff. The only way to front big diff is by cable lock NO e/locker.

actually, that isn't true. the rear full size e/locker bolts right into the front large diff.

thanks for the break down of the user name ... makes total sense now.

Wayne, I know is bolt up. The motor of the e/locker is on the right side of the rear diff, If you bolt up to the front, the motor will be on the left side. Which means to say that you need a long spline shaft on the left side. This will be tougher job than finding the 3.7 high pinion gearset.:grinpimp: I hope you get the picture.

the long spline is no biggie at all.
the install is straight forward.
a lot less money than doing a 3.7 high pinion install ... in my books.

Slightly better than my bench seat and 1/2" cushion.:D

i beleive the red tag is 24V but can be operated on 12V as well...

AFAIK, it is a direct bolt on.
but
the small diff uses a different attachment to the large diff
but
the motors might be the same size.

75 sereis in the pic ...
