Did you buy a new OEM Toyota distributor or aftermarket?
Sorry, just saw this - bought aftermarket. AIP Electronics

If it says Denso, is it really "Aftermarket"? It's not like it's Manny, Moe and Jack brand.

It's a Denso rotor, but not a Denso distributor.

It looks pretty good though. Let us know how it works and holds up. Might be a good alternative for others as well. 👍

I will do an update as soon as I get some miles on it. I was really torn about not getting a Denso distributor. I did put the Denso rotor and cap on it, since mine had less than 1000 miles on them.

Well I just verified this leak after changing my valve cover gaskets that were leaking bad. Cleaned engine thoroughly but detected a slow oil leak at the distributor.
Got the O-ring & changed it out, 20mins labor plus another 20 mins cleaning the built up sludge under the dizzy that I missed.
Too easy, thanks to the OP for detailing it for us. Made my job way easier with confidence that it wont take long.
