hello all what should i expect to pay for a 1997 80 series with a blown head gasket. but a arb front bumper. ? wanted to use it as parts or possibly drop a new motor in it

$500 and send me the bumper.

Blown head gasket? Replace the gasket and service the head. Do all the "while you're in theres." That's no reason to part the rig or replace the engine! Heck, that's the best way to buy an 80, IMO, if you do a top quality, OE repair.

water pump failed and overheating caused the engine block to crack.

Update your sig line so we can see what trucks you have.;)

As for parts, if you are thinking for the '93 you just bought, not a ton of parts are easy swaps. They have different interiors, different exhaust, OBDI vs OBDII, different wheel styles for lug nuts, different emissions stuff, different trannys, etc.

As for price, if it's as rusty as the '93, I would say around $500 and hope there are enough parts you can sell if you feel like going through that hassle.

The ARB should fit on your other truck as long as it hasn't been changed from the way ARB made it to fit. The rear bumper isn't really a bumper, it's the rear most cross member of the frame. The rear plastic cladding/ mudflap assembly should fit, but be wary that they tend to rust up internally with the fasteners and it's hard to get them off without mangling them sometimes.

You can get a running salvage engine for a 1FZ for about $500. @slow95z
