well, 2 days back to work. everything has gotten heavier and harder than when i left, LOL. wow, i feel like day 3 of your first weightlifting routine in highschool, stiff and sore. but glad to be working.

Today marks the 4th “anniversary“ of my wife’s stroke. To quote the Grateful Dead “ What a long strange trip it’s been”. Never in my wildest dreams would I still be working this hard at this age. It is worth it though. To see her smile and feel her touch makes all this worthwhile. Hug your significant others while you still can and they know who you are. Oh yeah, enjoy the ride while we can.

Decided it was time to thin the herd some. Put my 40 I’ve had for 11 years on Mud classified. While picking up the front axle housing from me a couple weeks ago, 120mm decided he liked the 40. Struck a deal and it’s headed for Tenn. Sure love this forum and the great people you sometimes get to meet.

Nice break in cold weather so kids wanted me to cook a little. Got some beef ribs yesterday and a pork butt figured we should make it worth our while.

Just unwrapped my ribs and will cook until 203. Smoked some chicken wings for daughter and son for 45 minutes then flash fry before sauce. Pork butt will come off last.
