It’s comforting to know in a week things will likely be different instead of looking towards April!
About the same for us, by mid week we will be just at freezing for daytime highs.

Lost the kitchen water overnight but got it going now, no burst pipes so I’ll take that as a win! 🙌🏻

High 30s at night, 65 for the high. Clear and dry. Not saying I'd like snow but I'd like some rain to play in.

Water off in the single wide so pipes won’t freeze. We can turn it on enough to shower when that time comes but it takes some logistics for sure!

16 degrees here right now with wind chill 2. Stepped over to shop and it’s in mid 40s without heat. Filling radiant heater up and gonna play in shop all day.

Folks around here don’t prepare well for these weather events no fault of their but storing water, treating diesel is something most don’t consider. Dealt with gelling in my diesel in past and fuel treated in Colorado so never worried about it. Skid steer, tractor and trucks all treated.

I’m sure @PabloCruise is dealing with some ugly weather right now, none of which I miss.
Mother Nature is paying a visit.
Yesterday morning I woke up to -9F, but w/ wind it felt like -24F. The dogs were holding their feet up after a quick outing to take care of business.
Right now it feels like 16 below. It looks like Monday night/Tuesday AM is the real treat - it should feel like 30 below around here. I am guessing they will cancel swim practice Tuesday.

I think we're all getting blasted right now. I had to dig out the insulated coveralls this morning, busting thick ice in the water troughs is a challenge. Jan. and Feb. are our two rough months.
I always feel like February is the longest month...

It's like anything else, if you are dressed/prepared for it, it's really not that bad. The ones that don't do well here are the ones that hide inside all winter - it's long and dark, if you don't get out, you'll go a little (more) nuts. This was sunrise about 11am the other day off the back porch, there are worse places to live...
