let's also not forget that rotational mass is not the same as static mass on the body or in your rig. I'll give you that they look mean as hell though with the military wheel and tire for sure.

Sure they'll take more to turn but surely the difference from a trxus 35" MT and these wouldn't be noticeable as going from stock to 35" intercos.

I've talked to guys that run them the HD chevy's and they all say they clean out really good, quiet on the road and everyone of them have ran past 50K. For the price/wear I'm not able to find anything else comparable in a non bead lock let alone a double.

I agree On price and wear. I personally think they look mean as heIl too.

Since I'm broke for a set of these I'm going to run my trxus 35's until I can scratch up some more scratch.

I'm going to stop making them this summer for toyotas . I've sold like 42 sets to jeep guys and 8 to the yota guys. Im gonna just stick to jeeps. I can mass produce them for one setup a lot cheaper than accommodate one buyer here and there. Let alone the I'm gonna do lay away for 3 months and then file a dispute after one month. Just not doing anyone a favor anymore. If you want a set of these my email is Originalmade@gmail.com or text me at 6156690691

Then or than? Two different words.

So the cut off date for getting a set will be? I may have to go the re-center route then....

For those who want to run this setup and worry about cannot them balanced. They will be balanced just fine at the Truck shop. I tried the balancing beads which didnt work. I had the shop separated the rims, took the balancing beads out, and balanced with weights. It was vibrating and shaking so bad.

how many ounces of beads did you put in each tire?

i put 10 oz in each. Just went by the recommended amount for the tire. Balancing beads could have worked if I added a little at a time but without knowing how much each one needs would take a lot of time. My 4 tires required between 7 and 14 oz.

usually twice the amount of traditional weight in beads does the trick, that being said putting in almost 2lbs of beads in a tire doesn't sound quite right. For those that run the big lug tires, beads are the only way to go because of chunking them off in pieces on the trail.

Any chance a 5x150 adapter could be bought?

or you can just cut out the center of the H1 wheels and run it without adapters. here is a picture of my tacoma on H1 wheels. counting the centers, all 5 wheels and tires i have less than $1000 in them.

This looks really cool - did you buy another set of 16.5" wheels with a 6x5.5 pattern and have a welding shop swap the centers?

man talk about bringing up the past...

so what i did was buy a set of military take offs for dirt cheap off facebook. no idea what they go for now but at the time it was insane how cheap you could find them for but i think that is because they were getting rid of the old 36s and moving everything over to the current 37 inch tire.

i got centers from here but i see they have gone up and with the ability to get 17 inch beadlocks for around 350 a tires these days i see no reason to do it.

Sorry for resurrecting such an old thread but I very much appreciate the link!

I've got an opportunity to buy some of the 37x12.5r16.5 tires mounted on the 8-lug beadlock wheels at a really good price. I was going to order some adapters to make them fit, but I think I might actually buy a set of these centers. It is a much cooler look.

Don't do it unless it's a play toy. They ride like trash
