So...how would I know what the PO has in there? I'm really happy with my Highs after the Slee Harness upgrade...the Lows are better, but could still use some improvement. What are the indicative markings?

boekppl said:For everyone's information there is a very slight mod that needs to be done to the HIRs. One of the retaining tabs that holds the bulb into place needs to be slightly trimmed down to fit. I used a Dremel tool and it took about 30 seconds to do it. A file will also work, and I've heard of people using nail clippers! The bulb holds secure, identical to the stock bulbs.

Your high power 9005s (Assuming they are the Korean Hella bulbs) might last you a bit, but most have lasted about two months or so. Their filament stands a good chance of being poorly placed as well, causing your beam to be unfocused.
Go with the HIR high beams. The light will be focused where it should be, they'll last you forever, and they only output a little less light than the 100w Hellas.
