'94 193K normal PM, cleaned injectors, PHH. Purrs like a tiger....

211,000 on my 97 LX. Most reliable rig I've ever had. PM is my hobby these days. Original HG and PHH.

There is a '97 in a wrecking yard up here that I looked at to scavenge the other day; it had a little over 470,000 miles on the odo!!! The engine looked like it had every bit of that on it....

Creeping up on 400K on 97 40th E. Just PM and rebuilt front end at 380K

I drive a whole lot too, about 35K a year, if you figure the average gas price from 1997 to 2010 at $1.80 (which is a low ball estimate) and your cruiser averaging 15 MPG (I get 10) you have spent around $48,000 in gas to drive your rig 400K.

Beleive me, I hate to think about it, but the one thing I hate is dumping about $10,000 a year into it in gas alone!!!!

Time for a diesel swap!!!:hhmm:

Just turned over 250,000 miles. I am the 2nd owner, as I just bought it. Not sure what repairs have been done on mine, but it runs like new and gets 15mpg.

Coming up on 350k on mine, looks like the head gasket finally went on me today.

Don't say that! I am at 341,000mi and being homeless in PA with no place to work on the 80, that would be the end of the my 80 for me...
But the Mahindra diesel truck would look good in its place under the bridge...

258,000 origional miles on my 1994 FZJ 80. Has a leaky rear main seal but waiting until we have problems to fix that. Have owned since 144,000 miles.

Make sure you seal pull and seal the rear main retainer. I replaced my rear main seal and it leaked right after I got it back together. Ended up being the rear main retainer. I didn't bother to pull and seal the retainer when I had the seal out. Had to drop the trany again.

Not sure but you might be able to pull the upper oil pan and seal it that way. It was the retainer to pan seal that way leaking on mine.

Rolled over 297000 this week and that is uncorrected for 285's at 230k. Surely that pushes me over the 300,000 mark. Head gasket lasted til 260,000 but never blew, only seeped coolant.

man, I am in the low range here. 176k miles (but uncorrected for 285 tires for who knows, at least 6 years from POs). I am about owner #4. Last owner did the HG, PHH, top end rebuild. I am doing fun stuff like shocks, springs, rear axle seals/bearings and brakes.

Purrs like a sewing machine, the only leak is a tiny rear main seep.

252k
I believe I'm the 3rd owner...so far as I can tell, no major work done...so far, so good <knocks furiously on wooden table>
