Welcome to MUD! Nice rig you've got there...;)

welcome and CLEAN TRUCK!!

do the cruise buttons work????

Eeewwwwwwww..... :Sigh: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that belongs in a museum... You can't drive it anymore... Thanks for sharing!

Took it on a trip to San Francisco in Sept to pick up some studio equipment for my wife. Next July it's going to the Durango, Ouray area to do some old mining trails.

It has cruise and it works, but not by the steering wheel buttons, would like to find a way to make them work as radio controls

That sounds like an awesome trip! Can you point the curious in the direction of a good source of maps for that area?

Your truck is great, too, I love those decals. I miss the days when cars came in actual colors, and had neat things like pin-striping and graphics.

nice

Nice rig you got there, that thing really is a good find considering it's age.how much did you pay for it?that really belongs in a garage or museum.BTW welcome to mud :flipoff2::flipoff2:.

I used my Garmin and then I have a good map from either Benchmark or DeLorme. You can get a map for each state and they are very nice.
For the SFO area, we had a friend as a tour guide.

Thanks

Cool stuff, I run Delorme TopoUSA 7 on my Earthmate, I'll see what the maps have to say, thanks!

That truck is one of the cleanest minis I've seen in a long time. Very nice. You should not have reported yourself.

Delorme Topo USA or Topo North America as it is called now is pretty good for general knocking about. Doesn't have all 4x4 trails. They seam to have a fear of routing a regular passenger car over something like the Black Bear Road.

If you have Garmin GPS, then look at the free offerings. GPSFileDepot - Custom Maps, Ximage hosting, tutorials, articles and more for your GPSr There is a project to get all states available free. Also you can get 4x4 trail maps too. Some other GPSes have more limited free map availability. Looks like there are allot more free choices now.

Cool truck and welcome. Im new here myself. BTW no toyota 4x4 needs to be in a museum. Have fun with your truck and use it the way you want to. I have a real nice truck too but if I kept it on the road all the time I would have never experienced the things I have. Have fun and let the off road modifications begin!! :p (Just dont hack it up. lol!)
