Poured a few more coal than I usually do in the egg. Lit and forgot about it. 20 minutes wide open air. It was over 700* before I burped it. Insane.

Been experimenting with my slow cooker. Terriyaki pork loin came out good.
Now trying taco soup.

Angus Filets were on sale at Kroger for $11.99/lb so for $16 decided to give 2 nice ones a try on the Egg. Damn they were good. Ended up doing a 600 degree sear in beginning and end. I would have taken a picture of the medium center but didn't want to stop eating. Hands down best steak I have cooked at home.
