Just finished a trip pulling a 7400lb (loaded) trailer. Heritage Edition with stock suspension and tires. Cruiser was loaded up pretty good. Trailering was great with a WD hitch. I posted here.

I noticed an official sticker on the door jam stating modifications to this vehicle has reduced carrying capacity by 41lbs. Soooo... no third row seats but reduced carrying capacity. But I didn’t feel like I needed air bags or heavier springs to tow a decent size trailer..

Also went on quite a few dirt and washboard roads (without trailer). I tend to go fast.. I was happy with the suspension. Even with tires pumped close to max for towing. At some point I know I will want suspension for a bumper, winch, tires.. but stock seems to work out pretty well for now! But I am curious about the springs and reduced capacity.

The Land Cruiser of recent years all seem to have the sticker. As I understand it, the weight difference is due any port added item. An example would be the floor mats.

I had the sticker on my 2017 and it's there on the 2020 HE.

It's a few pounds more on the 2020 than the 2017. I attribute that to rubber floor mats in the 2020 HE weighing more than the carpet mats in the 2017 base model.

My 2018 has similar sticker, but the sticker looks a bit different from the others shown above (long and skinny instead of squarish). For mine I assumed it was because I have the rear screens, but no idea what port add-on is actually what accounts for this (especially since your HE doesn't have screens).

Well, clearly, your LC is a Chinese made fake LC. Sorry.

How much does the HE roof basket weigh? That could be a port added item.

anything added at port reduces your load capacity. Those are probably for the roof basket or whatever else was added in. Could be floor mats dunno.

This *still* hasn't been confirmed but HE rear springs appear to be made with thinner wire and have more wraps, meaning they are probably softer rate than base model. Perhaps with the third row and passengers deleted this all works out.. but the yellow stickers on base models points to the coils themselves likely not impacting load carrying as much as the other installed stuff does.
