Help ID wheels...these from a toyota truck?

Trying to identify these wheels as I need one more. They are 15x6 steelies with 3.5 backspacing. No hub clips.

Anyone know what these might have come off of? Guys on the 40 series forum think they are from a 6/85 toyota truck.

Any help is appreciated. I picked up 4 of them locally, but need to locate a 5th. Everywhere I find them are all for 86 or later and have almost 5" backspacking.

1st Gen Minis, early 2nd Gen Minis and early 1st Gen 4Runners came with the 15x6JJ wheels in certain trim packages

Thanks, these hard to come by? I guess now that I know what I am looking for, might be easier, but been having a difficult time (no pick and pulls with these that I can find, nothing online from this year..all for 86 and later that has wrong backspacing. I bought one on ebay and found this out). Guess i'll post in the wanted parts.

Hard to come by because they were only on stripped trucks, which dealers didn't order many of. In 85 86 most trucks & runners were SR5 with either the chrome steel wheels or Go-bot looking alloys.
BTW, those wheels don't fit on solid axle trucks or cruisers, way too much backspacing. The steel wheel off 74-80 Cruiser or 79-84-85 mini will bolt on and looks like that.

The backspacing on the ones i purchased are 3.5". That should work fine shouldn't it?

Maybe. I was just going off the late 85 production date, assuming they were for IFS frt end. They do look like a lot of BS, as would be correct for MY86-newer truck.

Those look like the wheels that were on my 1985 4Runner ... only they were white.

I just went out and looked. I have two wheels.

15x5.5 with a 9/83 date
15x6 with a 10/84 date

Both are 3.5" backspaceing.

 

[cruiserdan]

15x6 stripper solid front axle mini truck, 84-85. Would have been vanilla ice cream white originally.

15x5.5 was 79-83.
