Yep, yours looks like a 23030-24011 about $12 from Toyota.

The supply line on the stk filter is scary looking. You should replace it too.

awesome. much appreciated! will chase it down.
Honestly, just get the $7 clear Napa filter. That way you’ll can actually watch what is happening.

Get a book, even a Haynes. Seriously.

Hey all —

As an update, I was able to replace the second fuel filter with the toyota filter (thanks, @MatthewMcD !). It looks good, no more leaks. However, the truck still won’t start.

I got the Hayes book and I’ll poke around for general information, but any folks have an idea of what’s going on? video link here :

many thanks to all -

No spark (at correct time, perhaps) or no fuel Can of starting fluid, inspect the air cleaner when you take it off to spray some juice in the carb. Try the starter - no start with fluid then its a spark issue.

Hey everyone - hope all are well.

As an update, I got the rig started again! WOO. And it no longer sputters in second gear. I replaced the spark plugs, coil, condenser and breaker point. It’s running ~well~

However, (always a caveat) the rig is still shaking when I accelerate. It does not shake when I press gas in neutral, it only shakes when I step off the clutch and start pressing gas to move forward. Any idea ? I cannot figure it out. Otherwise, it’s driving strong and sounds solid. not sure if helpful, but i’m attaching some pictures of a part that is not bolted down. any idea what this is? maybe this is the issue? (apologies in advance for my ignorance)

Open the hood, have someone put it in gear and start to take off - you watch the engine, if it moves a lot then motor/tranny mount is bad. Take a jack with a block of wood in the area of each mount, start jacking gently and watch the mount.

All — As an update, I discovered the issue. The rear driveshaft had three bolts missing to the pinion yoke (yikes, I know). A bit embarrassed to discover this so late, but I just ordered new bolts. Highly confident the shaking will now stop.

Appreciate all the feedback. I’m sure I’ll be back! Cheers.

Damn son!
