Where the heli Do I send my $$$ to!!! This definetly “wakes” the front end up! I also vote for small marker lights.

I hate with a passion Dumb s*** running lights, most of the time it's high beams and no tail lights, or people shut them of and forget but have a lite up dash. I live where it is cloudy dark rainy, and see wrecks or close calls from this stupid idea . I love the land rover with the cruiser lean too :flipoff2:

Sounds like you guys like the first design. I totally get the smaller light theory, Its crammed for sure with the 7" but I think it will work out. I could fairly easy make a smaller bulb option now that I have the main construction complete. Its a complex little bastard. I have redesigned the light opening, I think it looks better and its built 100% better too. Although, my opinion on design is frequently met with opposition due to the absence of any "type A" personality traits. So, I have realized that with the bulb trim ring, and my new opening design, I can increase the thickness of the top and bottom of the outer face. Just a little, but that might help the look. More pics tomorrow I hope

@kelly saad my truck is always ready for some mock up, though I might not trust the passenger side for perfect alignment.
Thanks! It would be a good idea to test fit on a second vehicle too. I still need to get you that grille, I haven't forgot.

Looking really good! How about the option/ability to add some marker lights? I've always loved front end of the Defenders

I really like this side marker/light idea. At least as an option. Some small lights of some sort. This Land Rover is pretty sweet

I could be there in 90 min for test fitting, just sayin'. And both sides of my front end are aligned and centered! ;)
Thanks for the offer, if I need another vehicle for fitting I will let you know.

@kelly saad When can see some daylight pics? Getting kinda excited about this mod. Anything I can do to further bastardize my pile of junk.

I have a couple more suggestion purely for aesthetics...

Would it possible have a cutout groove or something else to match trim of the parking light?

For the actual headlight bucket, I think it would look much better with an angled bezel, something to soften the transition from the flat outer panel to the inner bucket. Might not be easy to do though:

Another option would be a raised outer ring, just something to break up that sharp edge a bit...

Easiest way to dress up the tapered insert look would be to get them airbrushed to match the parker and give a 3D look.

Or the eyelashes they put on beetle headlights-

Yeah! Finally some professional design types on it..Kelly if you open a go fund me I pledge $100 for R&D

I’ll second the go fund. Or pre order a set of headlight trims. These are gonna be awesome. Thanks for putting these together.

It’s all good, you know where I live.

Make sure it fits a LX also!!!
He has my rig available to test fit on whenever he wants. Though the round headlight thing hasn’t grown on me yet.

Are these going to be able to fit the LX also? Will they fit with the factory LX grill?

The factory LX lights are the same housings as the LC, the glass is the only difference. My headlights will bolt on the same but you would need a Land Cruiser Grille or one of mine. Im 90% sure on this but I could be missing something. If there was a larger market for the LX I would make it fit the LX specifically.
