any comment on the nasty patties from mc'd's, they call those hashbrowns too...

just thought that I'd throw that out there, maybe they don't call them hashbrowns where y'all are from?

where I am, hashbrowns are cubed, homefries are skin-on, and shredded are shredded

They aren't frozen, just refrigerated. And they are fxxxing awesome. Your top pic is just diced potatoes around here. Diced potatoes would more likely be served for dinner instead of breakfast.

They still came from a bag. I will give you this...you did an awesome job cooking those processed papas.

Thanks, I just had the exact same breakfast again, except with cheese on top of the browns...mmm, mmm good.

Who am I kidding? Like I would wake up and peel potatoes.......right. (read: r....i....g....h....t)

Potatoes = perfect food.

Too lazy to wash dishes too... :grinpimp:

That's why they are awesome. I am far too lazy to deal with potatoes. I don't even buy the fxxxers because I know I won't ever feel like peeling them.

I fried the hashbrowns first with salt and pepper. Then I fried the bacon. Last I fried the eggs in the bacon grease. It gives great flavor to the eggs. Just a little more pepper on the eggs and browns, and some ketchup for the browns and it was good to go. Now to finish it off....a dip of copenhagen. Yum.

I do it in reverse order. Eggs first because I like them to taste like eggs. Then bacon/sausage, then the hashbrowns in the grease to soak up the flavor. Yum.

No copenhagen though. :D

Try doing the eggs after the bacon. To me, they still taste like eggs with a bit more flavor. :D When I took the bacon out of the pan, I put them on top of the hashbrowns and let the grease drip off onto the browns. Good stuff.

Sounds good too. I'll have to try that.

Was this the White Trash Breakfast Special at Denny's?

That's debatable. I've done both. I smoked for much longer. The dipping seems to catch up to you faster. Then again, I smoked about 2 packs per week for the last 1-1/2 years.

I think doctors say that smoking is the worst thing you can do to yourself health wise. I know a lot more people who had lung cancer than mouth cancer. And smoking makes you stink and you can usually tell when someone has been smoking for 10 years. You can't with dipping.
