Picked this up last week. Poor thing had a tree fall on her 😢. Not sure what I'm going to do with her just yet... Looks like she was parked around 1978 (last tagged in '78). I would guess the 31,000 miles are all thats on her. Very little rust with most all the hard to find parts still there, full set of keys still in the ignition.

I had seen this beauty a year or two ago while I was out pumping chit in a little Deliverance type village called Sammyville. The "Mayor", Sammy, passed away in 2014. He was quite a character, even had a low budget movie made about him. He loved his Cruisers. I have his old 1967 FJ45 I'm wrapping up a frame off on and parts off of a red 1965 FJ45 I remember seeing him drive around in when I was a kid that he ended up totaling. Anyway, this Pig was part of his estate. I inquired at the time about it, but since everyone that lives around there is related to each other, a battle over his (rumored) large estate was raging.
I got a call last winter to pump some more chit in Sammyville, and as luck would have it, it was one of Sammy's daughters. I asked her about the FJ55, she said she had won the court battle over her dads estate, and that she'd sell it to me... For $300. Uh yeah, I'll take it.
