Ok.. just kidding. We won't keep him for good. We'll smuggle Ken back into the "Land of the free"
when we come down for Surf & Turf.

Im gonna hazard a guess that floor mount plates are side specific. I think I was sent two driver side floor plates instead of driver/passenger. Can anyone that has a set of these confirm this?

shf739,
You can see the mountings should match up perfectly with the OEM 3rd row seat mount brackets and should lock into them. You slide forward (front of truck) into the 3rd row brackets to lock them in. It's a perfect, tight fit.

Both sides should slide forward to lock in, if I remember correctly.

Ill recheck mine then to be sure. Thanks

I sent a PM about two weeks ago. No response. Are these things still available for sale? Does anyone know an active contact email address, or phone number?

he's usually good about getting back to people within a day or so but from what I hear he's been extremely busy fighting fires, my buddy and I been waiting just about six months for our rear bumbers and we still don't have completion date. But we are wating patiently, "good things happen to those who wait"

It looks like both sides of mine slide rearward to engage the brackets. Both of my floor brackets are identical and fit the driver side only. The 2 parts that engage on the pass. floor bracket are reversed from what they should be.

Not a big deal. Ill wait till Ken gets back and see about swapping.

It is a very tight fit. I had to nudge the one fitting bracket with a rubber mallet to get to seat fully.

Yes, you want it to be a really tight fit. You can yank or push it to fully seat. I think Ken said the drivers side is always a bit tighter (mine was too)
Those pieces are CAD/CNC'd perfect for the OEM bracket. This makes for a tight, rattle free fit.

I was wondering if anyone had heard from Ken on these...is he supposed to be back next week?

I think his inbox is going to be pretty full...

Hex Nut size on the Carriers :frown:

Seems that it would have been easy but nothing I use fits the Hex Fitting. 5mm to small, 6mm to big, 3/16 to small, and 1/4 to big...

Did I miss something :)

Allen wrenches come in standard .5 increments at the low end. So if 5mm is too small and 6mm is too big, try a 5.5mm (or 7/8 SAE allen wrench)

The buttonhead bolts are so you don't tear anything up or catch skin while loading cargo

Thanks First Toy. I actually didn't know that  So 5.5 it must be. Now where to find one....Sears I go :)

I need some measurements off the installed units.

What is the overhang of the jerry can holders over the floor vertical bracket?

What is the distance between the two jerry can holders?

What is the distance from the floor to the bottom of jerry can holder?

I have some other ideas for my interior. Before I order I need to know the remaining space.

Thanks.

what is the overall measurement between the two carriers and the height off the floor to the bottom of the part that sticks out a little from the support coming up from the floor. Would like to know the clearances for placing a "standard" drawer system between them.

Could somebody with a pair of these installed take these measurements when you have a spare moment? I (and others) would appreciate it!

I'm VERY interested if those few sets aren't spoken for already. Are they PS/DS, or interchangeable, and are they available individually or just as a pair?
