Mirrors

Here's a quick and easy fix for the mirrors (got to get it inspected). I bought two 6" stainless mirrors off of Amazon and cut the mounting brackets to mount to the stock arms. Not beautiful, but functional.

Looking good Dave. FYI....you only need one rearward facing mirror to pass inspection. I always have the doors off my 40 when I get it inspected and the rearview mirror suffices.

Oh well. Just making sure. I still need to rebuild the parking brake before I get it inspected.

Sorry for the slow updates. With the large bulk trash pick up this week, I got motivated and gutted the crappy old seats. I have ordered the Corbeau seat bracket for the front and should be installed this week.

Just a heads up on the seat bracket. The one cross member and maybe the rear frame, will hit the rear heater You'll be able to modify it to work, just not a bolt in.

Well, we got some nice weather today and I decided to clean up the front a little bit and see how bad the floor pans really are. Looks like they will both need work. Both sides will need body supports since it looks like they're both completely gone.

I wonder if I can get BobM to make me just to top portion of each floor pan?

I love how the FJ55 and BJ70 share similar body lines.

Wonder if butting them up would be structurally sound?
