Well the two DBW outputs can be used for the shift solenoids.....but they are different part numbers between the 442 and the 340. All four solenoids are the same on the 442 correct? Other than the mounting flange?

Yessir, I'd love to know under what conditions it is doing it's thingIf it's any help I can wire up my little logger to my 442's solenoids to see what logic factory tcm is using for the timing solenoid. It would be after Christmas before I got to it.
Is it going to be worth my time for anyone else?
Wonderful, I'll try to get it wired today and get some driving next week. Will report my findings.Yessir, I'd love to know under what conditions it is doing it's thing

Why not ditch the afm if you are already on a haltech?Working on the TCU box over the next couple days. Have it laid out so it should be completely plug and play if I can find a matching plug for the AFM plug.
Can I ask where you get your color coded wires?
I am. I'm using some of the abandon wires in the MAF deletion for air temp sensor and fuel pump relay signal. I'm try to make this completely plug and play, so I'm repurposing abandoned wired. Why not ditch the afm if you are already on a haltech?
Haltech. I used the "basic" wiring harness for the 2500.Can I ask where you get your color coded wires?
Thanks
Keep in mind by reusing some Toyota things you have to put up with some of their annoying idiosyncrasies. One of which being trigger wiring, they always tie their trigger grounds together (not to body or engine ground, just together) which makes these AC signals rather uh, tough for the Haltech to decipher. I had to open my stock harnesses up on other Toyotas I've put a Haltech in to avoid having issues with the VR signals and the most annoying part is the ground splice almost is never on an EWD, but you can find it easy enough with a multimeter.

I think he wants the side present on the VAFM not the cableOh got it. So you need this 7 pin connector?
That's kind of what I was thinking, but he said plug? Not the jack side, I think you'd have to cannibalize a vaf to get one though.. but I get what you're saying.I think he wants the side present on the VAFM not the cable
Yup. Although That eBay add looks like it could be the oneI think he wants the side present on the VAFM not the cable
