Also, I love my Ironman4x4 bumper and the Aussie style of it, but I'm starting to wonder about something a little more low-profile to bring the nose of the truck back a bit closer to the actual front end. Anyone got recommendations?
Victory Srike for that reason. Not sure why Lexus is so obsessed with a "snout".

Not a huge fan of the angle at which the winch line comes through the fairlead with that one.
Yeah, but that's a pretty minor issue IMO. I really like how tucked-in the Strike is to the body. And I was still able to fit a Badlands Apex winch with minor fitting.

The only real downside in my mind is, if I wanted to remove the winch I think I would have to remove the whole bumper, although it is possible I could do it by removing the grille/fascia and working from above. Fortunately I have not had to find out thus far.

I'll admit it does look good, but the question about abrasion and running the line across the fairlead anytime it isn't a perfectly level pull remains. Thoughts?

That Strike looks great, IMO. A GX should never really need more of an approach angle than that!

The majority of pulls are to downward or level, I think.

There are a few larger radius hawse fairleads available that reduce friction on the line, including the one that comes with the Apex winch.

The Hefty solves the angle issue but the look is very "off road". So depends what you are into. It is for sure much more tucked than the Ironman option. I had a good experience with Hefty installing my lift, BC and associated trimming. One other thing is that they have free shipping, that is a big savings.

I'm very interested in the Slee option. Not sure when it will be available.

Very cool. I miss the old aircraft like F-4s and A-7s. The last C-141 I saw screaming was on approach to Osan. Heard it a good deal
Of time before you could see it.

If I could get that with ARB style tubing around the headlights, it would be perfect

Their website says you can get it with a "Hoop," but doesn't exactly detail what that means. Probably the single hoop that goes up to trace the grille? I guess probably similar to what they have for the 470 that they actually have pictures for

I like the coverage on the 470 bumper better. It looks more like it belongs on the truck than the 460 bumper. I'm not a fan of seeing all the bolts that mount the bumper to the frame. Maybe if they were painted black it would be better.

I sent an email to Slee to see if they have an eta on their 460 bumper release. I'm hoping it will be a similar price to the 470 bumper they offer.

Let me know what they say, very interested

Not the answer I was looking for. I guess I'm just suppose to stare at the website hoping it will show up at some point. 🤷‍♂️

"Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately, I don't know an ETA currently. Please check back here or on our website. We will always have an announcement for new products in stock on our website. We genuinely appreciate your interest in this bumper!"

Think I am going to order the Dissent rear bumper tonight after I have a few beers so spending that much seems like a good idea. There are actually a lot of options out there for the 460 now but final decision was between the Victory and Dissent bumpers since they both have a low profile hitch receiver, they both have reinforced wings by the fender, and they both have modular swingouts. Ultimately I think the Dissent looks better, though I think the Victory's aesthetic trade off does offer more protection on the side of the truck. Dissent's much more expensive swingouts also have some nice quality of life features like automatic latching and hydraulic arms to open/hold the swingouts.

I wonder how many of those they sold - they're super pricy but pretty awesome. The 460 that has the first one(?) is local to me and while I haven't seen it in person it has a lot of what I want. I just can't currently justify the cost and I like the idea of having the full size Lexus hitch.

(fun fact - I sold him those wheels a while back lol)

If it was a single swing that integrated the swing with the door....

A cool feature of the Expedition One, but I can't square that with the body and frame flexing separately...
Looks like it's connected with an arm and two joints, so there is some play. Also lets the tire arm swing on a different plane than the barn door.

Yep, an elegant design should allow for it.
