Basically..
Honestly surprised it went through that many techs/shops before properly diagnosed. This guy is pretty good at explaining everything. Definitely knows his stuff but freeze frame data would have shown the misfire was only at idle. Horror stories like this make me feel happy I’m not doing that stuff anymore!!

I am not completely surprised. New generation of techs that never did obd-1 troubleshooting.

Mickey Thompson really has figured out some magic with the Baja Boss AT and winter weather. I remain shocked, and possibly flabbergasted, at how much braking force can be applied in the snow and ice before the ABS starts locking up.

I can think of at least a half dozen little mountain villages that are more blue collar hidden away between Ned and the Wyoming border.

The thing with many of those is you have to go out of your way to find them.

There are a lot of generalizations about Washington state on the west side. Urban core in the middle is different than many of the northern, southwest, southeast, and eastern sides of the western half.

Off season is a good time, especially once all the aspens are bare. There is also a really nice Level 2 trail that runs south west out of Estes and connects with a few other trails. Pierson Park Road.

I took a family member with a 100 series on it in September. It was nice.

I need to get back to CO and do some wheeling

Hoping to visit my best friend in Denver sometime this year

Maybe we can link up and hit some trails

Are you saying there is a difference between Belfair and Seattle? :) As usual you nailed it.

Seems to be the case all around the Country with urban areas. A few years ago the governor of Mn. said the rest of the State outside of the Twin Cities is nothing but rocks and cows. From that statement you can tell he is from Nebraska, he left out trees which makes up a huge portion of the State. Either way I am a member of Team Rocks and Cows. I often cross over into Wi. to avoid driving through the Cities as they call it around here.

My schedule can be hit and miss. But if I am free, absolutely.

I have hit almost everything within 2 hours of me, so i can help pick something appropriate to how hard you want.

Sounds good, will let you know if/when plans fall into place

This sounds like a pretty solid endorsement! I've been considering those to replace my WP AT3's when the time comes.

I really like my Toyo AT3s, but I’ve been regretting grabbing a second set instead of trying the Baja AT. They didn’t have the size I was looking for though 265/70/18.

I briefly misread that as Baja T/A. A high speed offroad racing tire from BFG.

Still having short term memory loss issues.

I'm sorry to hear that. I've had to deal with head injuries myself. Try to not think too hard. You can regress in your healing. Get lots of rest.

One neurologist suggested I take Magnesium Oxide and B2, and I think they helped me. See if your doctor can recommend a neurologist or occupational therapist.

Some knowledge for ya’ll!

Good video, but way too long. Could have easily been cut to 10minutes. All he needed to do was explain:
  1. The problem (2 minutes)
  2. The steps to fix it (4 minutes)
  3. Why none of the steps worked (2 minutes)
  4. How he figured out what the real problem was (2 minutes)
DONE!

Or as we say in the Army, B.L.U.F. (Bottom line, up front!)
Absolutely. You dont need someone who cant get to the point when you do emergent critical environment work.

Starting to look at LX470s for a commuter. I want a tank. I dont think I will be comfortable commuting in a compact car again.

100%. Though, in the summer I could see myself daily driving some sort of Japanese 2 door something. I'm getting that itch for a late 90's or early 00's Japanese kei car of a particular type which shall remain nameless. 😃 I WANT an S2000 but **** me those are so expensive now. I missed the boat on those. Also, finding an unmodified example of a 1997 Prelude SH like the one I had is also going to be impossible unless I import one.
