My 6 year old and 4 year old like to argue about who gets the GX when they turn 16. Nice to have a vehicle that actually should be running 10 years from now, as long as it doesn't get wrecked!
Agreed! Some other jack wagon totaling either GX is my absolute fear. I’ll never find either of them in this brilliant shape for what I paid again...ever.

My fear as well. I was rear-ended in my Mazda earlier this summer. So glad it was in a disposable new car and not the GX. They just can't be had now....finding another one in the same color would take years.

Years and cost you 50-100% more.

A PHEV GX with like 30-50 miles of EV range without any major penalty to weight or other capabilities would be absolutely perfect.
Pretty sure the battery for that would be a several-hundred pound weight penalty...

That doesn’t matter much in the real world application though. Compare the RAV4 vs the RAV4 hybrid. All that extra weight is negated by the hybrid system and out performs it substantially. You should check it out by driving both, it’s rather fascinating. The hybrid system in the RAV4 adds about ~400lbs.

I appreciate your efforts!

Good to know that if I decide to sell my 2018 I will have a bunch of 2021s available and more than likely 2022s.

PAAAAAAAAAAARTSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, I’m seeing my 4 yo girl driving this one ❤️
And then I’ll get a newish tundra 💜

I don’t think I want lockers or gears. Just maintenance and sliders 🍔
Funny I was just commenting that my 2018 is going to be my 4 [almost 5] year old's first car. Never getting rid of this thing

Looking forward to seeing what the numbers look like when the third gen comes out… rumor is that they’re going after the g wagon with this one. Triple locked, boxy, ultimate luxury off roader.

One can only hope!

I doubt it, but if that does happen, I'll forgo The '22 Tundra TRD Pro this spring and get the next gen GX and give this '22 GX to my wife. Hah.

I guess I’ll add that while this is not officially confirmed, it is becoming less and less of a rumor. I heard Sadayoshi Koyari is the lead on the J180.

I get the feeling it will look like a baby, detuned LX... same as always except perhaps a small bump in the price.
