do you know if you have them back in stock? last time i checked it was a no.

Which ratio are you after?

There are 10 ratio's. We build a great deal of split t-cases so those parts come and go quite often. We should be pretty stocked up at current on those that are not NLA.

i think i want the 6x17 to try first

That is part# SPCB69185. We have (5) in stock as of this minute.

Can you provide these:
Current Indicated Speedometer Speed:
GPS Measured Speed:
Current Drive/Driven Ratio:

I've got a calculator built that can determine what ratio to use OR what speed a new ratio will indicate.

i'm sorry Kurt i made an edit too late.

indicated speed: 75
GPS speed: 63
current ratio: 6x16

sorry, i'm 6x16 now i think i want to try a 6x18

6x18 requires a new drive gear too:
Unfortunately that drive gear (33481-60050/33481-60051, was our part# SPCB60051) is now discontinued. Used are out there but not super common.

But, if you find a used 6x18-20 drive gear, the driven kit you're after is our part# SPCB69195 (3+ in stock)

indicated speed: 75
GPS speed: 63
current ratio: 6x16

That is a big discrepancy. I show you would in fact want the 6x19 driven gear (still needs the 6x18-20 drive) which is our part# SPCB69135, 5 due in ~2 weeks

Going from 6x16 to 6x18 would give you a new indicated speed of 66.6mph
Going from 6x16 to 6x19 would give you a new indicated speed of 63.2mph

All this assuming my Thursday brain is working :D

i was kinda surprised it was that far off myself, but tires and gearing changes do that i guess.

thank you for the thursday brain work, i'll keep checking in and order the 6x19 and see if i can find the drive gear somewhere.

Chiming in here to see if there is any update. So far I am thinking 16X7 is what I also need since I will use the same faceplate as @ATL Cruiser but I do run the stock rim and tire size at the moment.

Thanks for this thread. I've been messing with my cluster/speedo lately, put a new decal on it that's MPH/kmH. It's always been a bit slow to react up around 80-110 km/h. Was thinking a new cable might solve that issue. Now that I've got indicated speed in MPH though, I noticed my indicated speed seems a bit higher than actual. I need to get it out on the highway for longer than my usual 2-miles to work and see exactly how far off I am. I did pull my gear and verified it's a 6x16, so I can only go to a 6x17 easily. How involved is it to change the driven gear?

Apparently, Yoshiparts has the drive gear PN 33481-60050. It states its for a FJ62, BJ70 and LJ70. Do you think I could fit this in a R151 matted with a HF1A with a 6x18 or 6x19 driven gear?

Sorry for the dead thread revival.
