Scott,

For the 80 Series, the 3/4 length rack is aprox. 73" x 50", plus the light cage which is 8 inches long.
For the 60 Series, the 3/4 length rack is aprox. 79" x 52", plus the light cage which is 8 inches long.

Regards

Alvaro

Scott,

They are pretty big. With the light cage, they take most of the space on the roof of the rig. When you set the gutter mounts on the pillars (strongest points), the rack will be perfectly centered. With the light cage over sitting over the roof. This avoids unwanted reflection from the lights into the eyes of the driver.

Whats the difference between the 3/4 rack and the Full rack ? any Pictures to compare? Also whats the Price difference... and possibly the Avi. of getting a Full rack? Thanks

I've seen the 3/4 rack on Alvaro's rig many times. I cannot imagine it any longer than that. It seems the perfect size and I always thought of it as a "full length" rack. I wouldn't want it any longer, jmho

I am from Venezuela as well... INTI racks.. extremely popular/famous over there for their good quality. Here's a few pictures of INTI racks on different kinds of vechicle.

I take it that there is not one avalable for a 40.

Bsevans,

Yes, they make it for the 40 series and the 70 series as well. Plus J##Ps and LR and Monteros. Right now we only imported for the 60 and 80 series.
If there's enough interest we could bring racks for other vehicles in the future.

is it possible to remove the front and rear cross bars and have just the side bars for haulling long lumber etc.? Is it also possible to remove the side pieces so you are left with just the platform? (easier to fit in the garage)

Mark,

Certainly. You can remove the sides and the bars. That way you are left with a flat platform. Great to haul lumber or as the base of a roof top tent.
The bars that link both sides are need it to keep the sides from opening. I would not recommend running your INTI rack without those bars. You are better off removing bars and sides.

Alvaro

Alvaro,

It's time to organize your garage :flipoff2:

Because we are very annal I have decided to have Luck Ported use his oval drill press to do this so that it will become a slot rather than just drilling new holes. They are going to look very

Post pics when done...waiting...

Wow this is late. We really enjoyed our moab trip with our way overloaded rack. The rack had no problems holding the weight although next time we will be much lighter.
