J, are you going to keep wall.e on the dashboard or move the gauges somewhere else?

I am planning on a SpeedHut quad gauge (fuel, volt, oil, and temp), a dual gauge (gps mph and tach) and then two separate boost and pyro.. I will put them all in the stock location once I acquire the funds for that project...

May need to go back on the road for a month to push me through the rest of the year...

Got the old tint stripped off and all but the back glass back in 20%.. Steamer really helps get the old off.

Need one more roll to finish off the glass.

So you just steam the inside of the window (where the tint is) and then peel it off? @reevesci

Yes.. on some of the tint I had to use a widget/razor scrapper.. but for the most part it peeled right off, glue and all..

A heat fun works wonders if you don't have steam

Started on the interior plastic black out this morning while I had a few minutes to kill... Cargo and D pillar covers are done. Man were they dirty... The SEM Soap strips most everything off and then the plastic prep makes it squeaky clean..

Got the Aussie mirrors done too.

Have this altimeter/tiltometer from my last build and I am thinking it might go here... My stereo system is one of the last things to do on my list and I haven't decided on a console option yet.. (Definitely NOT a SMITTY though) OEM, Tuffy. Quadratec or just build my own..

Thanks Johnny, It is out of 4Runner and is larger than most..once I take the dash off, I'll see what I need to cut and what I need to do to mount it.. I can always mount it on top of the dash as well. I have the body surround for it, but seems BIG to be on a dash...

Thanks P, As most of you know.. I'm not too much into rock crawling.. So, this will be more on the expedition, "OLD J" style of design... HA! Still have the upswept wings etc.. stay tuned you'll see... Should have the shell cut and tacked where I want it tomorrow evening..

Got an order for a "tight" front with a 2" receiver.. Will start that soon too.

J, I think that if the MUD community has anything to say about it we vote for you to design your own center console!! Time for someone to produce a real console that actually meets our needs and doesn't cost a freaking arm/leg.

I want a B&P brake... HMMMMM!!!

Got in a groove today and almost got the main bumper finished. I really like how this bumper is shaping up. Will get the spindles welded in tomorrow and start on the swing arms.

Got the marker lights installed and received 20- 9W CREE lights.... These will come in handy for the under carriage and cargo area.

Rear glass is tinted and my glass guy called and said they would be over tomorrow to install the windshield, rear and cargo glass..
