right. sorry for the confusion...radiator shop...

Okay, so the only really place I can find a brand new 60 tank is toyotaoverstock. Not bad at like 204$. But the shipping and handling is a whopping 300!!
Please tell me there is a better place. I bought a gas tank before (granted it was about half the size of this one) it was around 50 for shipping, so if the cruiser is twice as big I would assume that shipping and handling would be around 100ish. Not the crazy amount of 300.

Where are you located?
Dyno

I would recommend using the classifieds and find a good used one locally.

Not crazy about $204? Then how about $624.41 + $54.21 shipping to Hickory, NC. That is how much it really costs. We wish a new tank cost $204, but that price posted on TPO website is wrong. Try this link from TPF.

or $634.81 from toyotapartszone + more expensive shipping.

Now you have something to REALLY moan about.

I guess I'm just a price snob. lol.
I got lucky with my first car and everything for it was dirty cheap so I have a bad mind set that everything else will be like it.
I have a friend that keeps reminding me this is what cars are really like...

not a price snob. Normal
Cruiser parts have been breathtakingly expensive since day one. And now that there is a limited supply of NOS, the prices just keep on going up up up.

Makes one pine for a good ole American car that has a ton of cheap aftermarket parts. Problem is, there is no such thing as a good ole American car.

Here's some pics of a new Toyota tank that was installed in a FJ60, driven a few hundred miles, went on one little 4wheeling trip (note muddy water splashes on bottom), then was parted out when an FZJ80 fell in the owner's lap. Includes new fuel suction plate and good but rusty looking sender. Price: $200, plus shipping. Use the shipping estimator at your preferred carrier's website to figure out how much $$ to ship from 43130 to you, weighs about 55#, 36"x41"x10".
