At a stand still waiting on parts. I'm about to pick up a non turbo 2JZ soon. Why can't I stop engine swapping things.

Getting there. Thanks to the NC land cruiser network for the OBD style intake.

Been traveling for work but finally got the time off to work some more. ECM came back no issues from Holley.

I went on a side quest and replaced cam and crank sensors. Lost half a day to that. Use OEM only!!!!

Exhaust and intake complete. Lots of tidying up to do.

I replaced the fan clutch with a stock replacement Hayden and it is very loud. Anyone else have a loud fan?

Tune day tomorrow.

She's a runner! All tuned up and ready to go. Only one power steering leak that was a bad hose I made.

Damn it's way better that before.

Runs mint. Ditched the HD fan clutch for the stock one. 60 miles so far.

All put back together with about 300 miles in. A/C blows cold. Sounds amazing. #makeexhauststainlessagain

I haven't measured MPG because I know it's bad. Only bad because I like the way it sounds!

Shout out to @cruisermatt 's engine mounts and A/C adapters making it so much easier.

I’m really glad to hear my parts made your project easier and more enjoyable! I love hearing that!!!

Completed a nearly 500 mile 'shakedown' camping trip. Only issue was a transmission cooling line came off. Averaged around 10mpg with a/c on and power to spare.

It got warm through the mountains but not too crazy

Love how it chirps on the shifts. Perfect.

Got to let the general public know.

I'm curious what you have going on with that "carpet"? I have mine out and I am exploring alternatives. Is that some kind of gym-floor material?

Look up “Hydroturf”

It's made for boat floors. It has knockoff dynamat underneath as well. I've strategically placed DEI foil heat barrier as well.

Previous owner did it and it would be a big pain to remove. The nice part about it is I was able to pin my floor mat down.

The power steering pump has been steadily getting louder and louder and it became time to do something about it. No matter how many times I bled it, it would still cavitate. Is it due to the return line being too high or the 6500 rpm rev limiter? Who knows, too late now.

I didn't need any aftermarket high-pressure pump like a TC or CBR and I still wanted to easily source a pump at any auto parts store but I wanted a remote reservoir. I dug deep on the internet and found a PSC product that replaces the stock reservoir and comes with an AN fitting already installed. Easy decision for $45 and I already had a spare pump.

With No reservoir on the pump it was pretty easy to install from the top. I'm not locked in with the mounting on the reservoir and still have to tidy up a few things. If you're a perfectionist, don't look too hard at this picture. I'm guilty of many things but not the brake lines or shock mount.
